How to Lose Weight in a Week
Do you need to prepare for a
special event? Is it in a week or two? Would you like to shed those few pesky pounds before then? This is a dilemma that faces thousands of people every day, so if you are
feeling a bit nervous about how you look and you want to change it in a week’s time, you are definitely not
alone. Luckily, there are some very simple things that you can do
to lose weight in a week. You won’t be able to drop five dress
sizes, but you will be able to lose those last few vanity pounds that have you feeling self
conscious.
First and foremost, drink
water! This seems contradictory, but it works. You need to drink about 1.8 liters of water every day. When you drink water you get rid of the excess water weight that you carry
around. When you are not well hydrated your body carries around
extra water so that it has water supplies when they are needed.
When you begin to drink water, and lots of it, every day, you will drop that water weight. Some people are
carrying around an extra couple pounds of water weight; wouldn’t it be nice to shed that? In addition to shedding the water weight, you’ll also have great skin which
makes you look as good as you feel on the inside.
Avoid soda at all
costs. Many people don’t realize how many calories they are
consuming from soda and how much weight they could lose if they just stopped drinking it. You shouldn’t even drink diet soda because then you will not have room for
the water that you need to be drinking. Stop drinking soda for
just one week and you might be surprised at what an impact it can have on how you look and
feel.
Don’t skip
breakfast. Those who skip breakfast are doing themselves a
disservice. When you skip breakfast you are more likely to binge
in the afternoon or evening, eating more than you need to eat.
Eat breakfast every morning, even if it is just a piece of fruit and an egg or a yogurt and
fruit. You are simply creating good habits by eating
breakfast every morning.
Do away with any and all fast
foods. Don’t even get that mini burger or those French fries. Those
few hundred extra calories add up at the end of the week. You might
be able to shed a pound in a week or more just by avoiding the fast food. While you’re at it, avoid junk food. Try to eat as much fresh food as possible. When you do this, you’re naturally consuming fewer calories and you’ll lose
weight in a week.
