The Easiest Way to Lose Weight
If you need to lose weight you may
feel overwhelmed. Where do you start? What will be the easiest way to lose the weight? A lot of people are intimidated by exercise programs, gyms, and diet programs
so they quite before they ever really get started on their weight loss journey. The good news is that you don’t have to join a gym, there are easy things that
you can do every day that will allow you to begin to drop the weight.
Make water your drink of
choice. At breakfast you can drink some orange juice, but after
this you should be drinking water instead of juice. When you are
drinking juice and soda you are getting an extra 150 calories per beverage than you need. Even if you only got an extra 250 calories a day, that is 90,000 calories per
year, which translates into 25 pounds! Losing 25 pounds has never
been easier; you just have to change your drink choice.
Write down everything that you
eat. People who write everything down are less likely to indulge in
high calorie treats. Holding yourself accountable in this manner is
really easy. Studies have actually shown that those who write down
everything they eat about 15% less calories than those who do not.
This can translate into an easy way to lose weight.
Eat five or six small meals per day
instead of three large meals. Those who eat smaller meals throughout the day are less likely to get
hungry. When you are not starving when you sit down to eat, it is
much easier to eat in moderation. When you eat in moderation you
are going to consume less calories and less calories means that you will be able to drop those extra pounds that
have been plaguing you. This is easy; you just have to eat smaller
meals more often!
Use a pedometer. When you have a pedometer clipped to you, you will be much more aware of how
much you are moving around. Those who are sedentary are taking
anywhere from 2,000 to 3,000 steps per day. When you add even 2,000
extra steps throughout the day by taking the stairs or parking further away, you can stop gaining weight and
even begin to lose weight. If you are interested in losing weight,
try to take 10,000 steps per day. This really isn’t hard if you
just stop taking short cuts!
Make time to walk. Walking is the easiest form of exercise and it can even be fun. Studies have shown that walking for 45 minutes a day will help people of all
ages and sizes lose weight, especially if they are eating right.
When you walk for 45 minutes you burn off about 300 calories, which is a substantial amount and could add up to
a 30 pound weight loss in a year. By combining the walking with the
other lifestyle changes mentioned there is no reason you shouldn’t find it easy to lose weight.
